Network Solutions is listed as the registrar and registrant of DomainNames.com. Unless I'm experiencing some type of DNS issue, they apparently don't see the need to redirect this domain to NetworkSolutions.com or anywhere else for that matter.
Firefox returns a "page cannot be displayed" error and even more comical, Internet Explorer calls up a Microsoft Live Search page on which, Network Solutions is paying for the #1 sponsored sites position.
Is Network Solutions actually paying for traffic they already own?
UPDATE: DomainNames.com is now pointing to NetworkSolutions.com. I'm guessing they didn't know about this and corrected it. Is a reward in order? Hmmm, didn't think so.

Our current domain name inventory is about 1300 domains lighter after a bulk sale reduced our portfolio size by almost a third. This will not affect our current Sedo promotion outlined in the previous post. I've updated our portfolio spreadsheet and also added some helpful information including Google search volumes and average PPC prices for the terms that make up the domains.
To summarize the details in the previous post, we're accepting all $60 offers via Sedo and pushing them to auction. Links to our Sedo portfolio and portfolio spreadsheet are below. This offer ends Friday, September 5th.
It's best to bid early as the domains that have received bids will be held back from any bulk offers we receive this week. That's not a sales pitch as we've already received a few, one of which resulted in the sale I mentioned earlier.

Our Entire Domain Portfolio is Up for Bid at Sedo.com - Offers of $60 Accepted and Sent to Auction
For the next 9 days, we've reduced the minimum offer on every domain name in our Sedo portfolio to just $60. If you put a $60 bid on any domain in that portfolio, we'll accept it and send the domain to Sedo's auction platform. We're taking a calculated risk here in the hopes that many of the domains will receive additional bids. Many times that doesn't happen though, and if that's the case, you'll get the domain at a really great price.
To really appreciate this offer you need to review all the domain names that are available using the links below. There are thousands of excellent generic domains with solid commercial potential. There are also several hundred outstanding names that we're praying we don't have to let go of for only $60.
We've made it as easy as possible for you to sort through the domain list. Below you will find a download link to an Excel spreadsheet that contains the full portfolio of domains. The spreadsheet also contains a separate column with each domain's keywords. This should make it a snap to cut and paste into your favorite keyword analysis programs. The domains are also listed in Estibot format with the first letter of each word capitalized. This should save you time if you plan on running them through the paces at Estibot.com. Just don't abuse and crash Esa's servers. I'm already in debt to him as it is.

An email list of available domains went out yesterday afternoon and over 80% of the domains have been registered as of this morning. You can sign up for the FREE email lists here. You're under no obligation when you join and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Today's blog post is the 75th list since the blog's launch back in November of 2007. That's over 3,000 available domain names, many more if you count the email lists too. I hope you find something useful in today's list.

As promised, I'm going to try and increase the frequency of available domain name lists over the next week or two. The following 40 domain names were all unregistered at the time of this post.
